Abstract

Modern high-frame-rate FPS esports has entered frame-level competition, and the traditional 1000Hz polling rate cannot match the rendering rhythm of 240Hz and above high-refresh screens. UNIQMAG magnetic suspension axis is equipped with native 8000Hz ultra-high polling rate, which compresses the input reporting interval to 0.125ms and realizes full frame coverage of game input. This paper analyzes the frame synchronization principle of 8K polling rate, and discusses the practical gains of ultra-high frequency input in VALORANT, CS2 and Apex Legends high-intensity combat. 1. Introduction

The polling rate determines the density of keyboard input signals. Low polling rate will lead to input frame skipping and micro-operation loss (ZOL, 2026). In high-frame-rate FPS games, the operation gap of a single frame may determine the outcome of sudden encounters.

UNIQMAG’s hardware-level 8K polling rate eliminates input frame gaps and realizes real frame-level precise interaction.

2. Technical Principle of 8K Polling Rate

Different from the simulated overclocking 8K of ordinary keyboards, UNIQMAG magnetic suspension axis adopts independent chip scheduling and magnetic field synchronous sampling  technology. It maintains stable high-frequency reporting under full-load game state, without packet loss and delay jitter. The 8 times higher sampling density than traditional 1K keyboards can capture all micro-operation changes of players.

3. Game Differentiation Gain

In VALORANT short-TTK sudden encounters, 8K frame synchronization ensures that instant stop and shooting commands are synchronized with game rendering frames, improving the first-shot hit rate. In CS2 timing-dependent gunfighting, dense input optimizes strafing continuity and ballistic stability. In Apex Legends high-speed mobile combat, ultra-high polling rate avoids movement and skill disconnection caused by input gaps.

4. Conclusion

UNIQMAG magnetic suspension axis’s 8K ultra-high polling rate realizes frame-level precise input synchronization. It makes up for the frame disconnection defect of traditional low-polling peripherals, and provides ultra-dense and stable input guarantee for high-frame-rate FPS esports.
